Piksuk Media is a Baffin Island production company and service provider working in the video and multi-media industry of Arctic Canada. Our mission is to promote Inuit history and culture and to train Inuit in all aspects of media work.
Since we began in 2005, we have completed two long-form documentary projects and initiated several others. While we pursue our own projects, we also provide a range or services to filmmakers and companies outside Nunavut:
- location scouting and consulting
- field production and line production
- project management
- cultural consultation
- versioning
- language interpretation
- co-production with Canadian and international producers
